Our Mission...

Bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to jails and prisons.

Who We Are...

We are a diverse group of people who saw a need to establish new Residents Encounter Christ communities in our local jails and prisons.  We have all volunteered with different chapters of Residents Encounter Christ and wish to expand the reach of Residents Encounter Christ into central Indiana.  We are a completely volunteer organization.  We prepare, train and mobilize volunteer teams to bring this well established program to their own neighborhoods.
Residents Encounter Christ is a three day, highly structured short course on Christianity with an evangelistic approach that is offered in county jails and or prisons.  Over the course of the weekend, the team's focus is to share the love and grace of Jesus Christ with residents through interaction with the talks, table discussions, times of worship, prayer, communion, and lots of food and fun.

Our Purpose...

...as Residents Encounter Christ Outreach, Inc. is to organize, form and educate communities
to make Jesus Christ known to the residents of county jails and prisons.
These communities bring our essential belief that
everyone needs a relationship with Jesus Christ to men and women who are incarcerated in jails.
